    Si usted es un proveedor de habilitación residencial los estamos  invitadando a convertirse en miembro de la Asociación de Habilitación Residencial de la Florida también conocida como por sus siglas en Inglés TRHA (The Residential Habilitation Association of Florida). La TRHA es una organización creada para abogar por los derechos de los proveedores de habilitación residencial y de los beneficiarios con discapacidades a los que servimos. Como miembro de la TRHA, usted puede recibir los muchos beneficios que disminuirán el trabajo burocrático y responsabilidades. Además, esta Asociación trabaja en pro de la creación de un plan de cobertura de atención médica asequible exclusivamente para los proveedores que han dedicado sus vidas a cuidar a otros. La siguiente es una lista de los muchos beneficios que queremos ofrecerle en un futuro cercano a los miembros de la TRHA:

     

    1. Cobertura de Atención Médica = Asequible si no gratuita, Cobertura de Atención Médica para proveedores de habilitación residencial.

    Nuestra misión es facilitar el trabajo de los proveedores de habilitación residencial y asegurar que nuestros derechos como proveedores y como ciudadanos sean respetados y reconocidos.

    Uno de los objetivos que la TRHA quisiera lograr es poder crear una oficina de administración central que ayude a los proveedores con los problemas de incumplimiento, así como con la gran cantidad de papeleo que conlleva nuestras responsabilidades. Como proveedores de habilitación residencial, todos sabemos lo estresante que puede ser tratar de mantenernos al día con nuestro trabajo administrativo, especialmente porque el papeleo requerido y las reglas y regulaciones cambian constantemente. Imagínese vivir en un mundo perfecto en el que puede llamar a la oficina central y hacer que le envíen una plantilla que ha sido pre-aprobada con el fin de cumplir con las normas. Supongamos, por ejemplo, que necesita hacer un informe trimestral, todo lo que tendría que hacer es llamar a la oficina central de la TRHA y solicitar que le envíen una plantilla en blanco, la cual es fácil de usar y puede ser llenada en el idioma que prefiera, y devolverla para que la traduzcan. Como proveedores de habilitación residencial, ¿qué necesitamos para poder ofrecer a nuestros clientes la atención de calidad que se merecen? La respuesta es: más tiempo, atención y mejores y calificados prestadores de cuidados. Esto es posible si realmente pudiéramos pasar más tiempo ocupándonos de nuestros clientes y menos tiempo haciendo el papeleo y cumpliendo con las regulaciones y requisitos repetitivos. Por lo tanto, hoy me dirijo a todos y cada uno de ustedes para que juntos podamos hacer esto posible. Como proveedores de habilitación residencial, encargados de cuidar a personas con discapacidades de desarrollo, necesitamos unirnos e involucrarnos y hacer que nuestros representantes electos se involucren para lograr un mejor futuro para nuestros clientes y también para nosotros mismos.

  • THE RESIDENTIAL HABILITATION ASSOCIATION TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT POLICY

    THE RESIDENTIAL HABILITATION ASSOCIATION TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT POLICY

    A. It is the policy of The Residential Habilitation Association to provide reimbursement for employees and volunteer board members for pre-approved travel related expenses, including transportation, hotels, and food. These expenses must be reasonable and necessary, as well as job-related, and must be pre-approved in writing by [the Executive Director/ Board of Directors].

    B. The Residential Habilitation Association will only reimburse for pre-approved travel related expenses when the employee provides documentation of the expense with receipts from purchases or other verifiable documentation.

    C. Employees seeking reimbursement must complete the (Travel Reimbursement Request form.) The form must be fully and accurately completed and submitted to the [Executive Director /Board of Directors.] All receipts should be scanned/attached and submitted with the form.

    – Local travel will be reimbursed through petty cash in accordance with applicable petty cash policies and procedures. This includes reimbursement for transportation by taxi and/or public transportation, and, when pre-approved, use of an employee’s personal automobile. The Residential Habilitation Association will reimburse employees for the use of their personal automobile in accordance with the federally approved mileage rate for business use of personal vehicles.

    – Reimbursement of meals when there is no overnight travel should be paid by the organization only when the meal has a defined business purpose. – For out-of-area travel, The Residential Habilitation Association will reimburse all pre-approved travel related actual costs, such as hotel accommodations, transportation to and from the destination, including airline, train or bus tickets, taxicab fares, meals and gratuities etc. [optional: A per diem amount limited to the federally approved per diem limits will be provided to employees for any overnight business travel.] Employees and volunteers should travel at the lowest available airfare to accommodate the purpose of the business trip.
